Holy-my-smokesy...

Everett said Holy-my-smokesy one time in reference to me rearranging the living room again and it has become a regular phrase in our house now.  I am using it now in reverence to how long it has been since upating the blog.  Life is busy working full time with Everett in school, Scarlett in daycare, and Clint, well Clint still works the same amount (which seems like all the time). 

This fall we have found several little treasures dead on the rocks.  The kids think they are great to find.  We have found two butterflies and a dragon fly.

We went to a friends birthday party where there was a band and discovered just how much Scarlett loves to dance.  She lived on the dance floor with anyone who would dance with her.  She is a dancing machine. 

Combining time.   This boy took his combining job seriously.  He literally lived in it this season.  If he got tired he would curl up on the floor and nap but he wouldn't miss a moment he was allowed to be in there!

The County Fair.  Mike and Debbie treated all the little kids to a day on the rides.  Clint and Mike got nominated to take the kids on the rides which I was good with!

 

This girl has a soft spot for her Daddy and her Grampa.  And the feeling is very mutual.

They had a stick horse rodeo set up in one of the barns and it was the cutest thing ever.  All the kids got numbers and they ran barrels on their stick horses, got let out of a shute on their bucking bulls and got winning ribbons.

We went shooting with one of Mike's friends one afternoon.  His friend is a shooting instructor and teaches all the state cops to shoot.  We learned a lot from him and had a great time.  The tree just happened to fall over when I was shooting at it which Clint got a kick out of.  I made me a little sick to my stomach because I am working so hard at getting the trees in our yard to grow and here I am killing one. 

Gangsta style (Clint's idea).  Aren't you jealous that you can't pull this off like me!?  Haahahaha.

Everett Started Kindergarten this year and is doing great.  We are so proud of him and his hard work.  He loves to ride the bus with his cousins every day and has an amazing teacher named Mr. Sokoloski.  Everett is now able to pronounce the name correctly but it started out being Mr. Shock-a-latte.

Scarlett has had a harder time with the transition of her brother not being around all the time.  They are crazy about eachother and miss eachother terribly when they are apart but as soon as you get them together they fight all the time!  Argh.

Clint came to see the kids off on their first day in style.
