4 days old.
Scarlett is doing great. When we discharged from the hospital she weighed 6#14oz which is a normal weight loss from the 7#3oz she started at. At her first visit she had only lost an ounce. Dr Sauer said she looked great! She loves the swing and will sleep in it for hours totally content. She still has lots of long dark hair and a very sweet personality that is starting to emerge.

Everett is adjusting pretty darn good. He doesn't seem too jealous of her and is interested in helping with changing her diaper and what not. He also likes to hold her for short periods of time. Despite all that I can still tell he is skeptical of the new situation and a little put out feeling at times. Worrying about Everett and how he is adjusting has probably been the hardest part of it all for me. It is hard when he has been my life and now to adjust and make room for another Bean is a tall order.
