Photo editing...

I am just getting my feet wet when it comes to playing with all the pictures I take.  You see I have owned Photoshop Elements for a few years now but couldn't ever figure out how to use it.  With the help of a couple of the previously mentioned websites that I stalk I have started to get things figured out...a little.  For example, here is a picture that I liked but the background was to busy.

So I cropped it in a little, softened it, added some color boost, brightened the eyes, and vwaaalaaa!
